The Staff and Management of the Centre for Gender, Women and Children in Sustainable Development (CGWCSD) warmly congratulate their Executive Director, Professor Olabisi Aina, who currently serves as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council of Venite University, Iloro-Ekiti, on the successful hosting of two landmark events in the life of the University: the investiture of the new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charity Onye Aremu, and the Third Matriculation Ceremony of the University, held on March 5, 2026.
The historic ceremony also marked the formal admission of 406 newly matriculated students into the Venite University community. For the Centre, this moment represents an important milestone in the continued growth, vision, and institutional development of the University.
CGWCSD notes that matriculation ceremonies symbolize more than the admission of new students; they represent the beginning of a transformative academic journey and the strengthening of the university’s commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and character formation.
